Set in lush gardens, GoldenEye features private beaches, hidden coves and a saltwater lagoon. This tropical property was Ian Fleming’s Jamaican retreat, and all 14 James Bond novels were written here.

At GoldenEye you’ll find 3 outdoor pools, and full spa. You can choose from a range of villas, beach huts and cottages, including beachfront and lagoon-front properties.

All the villas and cottages come with kitchen facilities. You can also eat out in GoldenEye’s beachfront Bizot Bar bistro or enjoy fine dining in The Gazebo.

GoldenEye is located a 20-minute drive east of Ocho Rios. It is a 90-minute drive from Montego Bay International Airport and an 8-minute drive from Ian Fleming Private Airport.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. it's a shame we could only spend 1 night here.

Everything. A wonderful place hidden in a wild garden. Beautiful beaches. Private island. Excellent restaurant. The most luxurious hotel I have visited in Jamaica.

This resort is one of a kind

The location was beautiful and scenic. The rooms were excellent. There were numerous pools and beaches on site. The property has a huge lagoon where my wife and I paddle boarded, kayaked, and saw sea turtles. This was truly an unforgettable destination.

Excellent facilities and staff made for a very pleasant stay - will return

It was so green and lush. Please continue to label the trees. I especially liked having the lagoon right outside our door. We were at a resort but hardly came into contact with other guests so we had our own space. Could go snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking whenever we wanted to. Hoping with the fish sanctuary and the coral nursery nearby there will soon be more fish and coral.

Was difficult to find the gate - no sign Found that it was better to eat off property than on. Food was fine but not up to the price point in my opinion

Absolutely amazing place. I stayed at the Spanish Elm room and loved it. This room as well as the lagoon cottages have kayaks which is great.

Location and scenery outstanding. service and food could be better.

The hotel is small and has a very “exclusive” vibe. It’s perfect to rest and be away from crowds.

the food is not splendid and the prices are very high. You do not have many options around the hotel. So you end up paying a lot for meh food. Lunch would cost 100$ for two and dinner 150$ for two (assuming that you only have like one beer or one cocktail).

The resort is beautiful, and clean. The staff are incredibly friendly. The food is delicious and so are the cocktails! We loved the complimentary Yoga with Sasha and the meditation classes. Button beach is stunning. We took boats out every day. The only downside is, we had to leave! But we are already planning our next trip back.

I loved everything about golden eye resort, it's perfection. A perfect haven! It exceeded my expectations in every way, we can't wait to go back!! The resort is massive, it felt so private, we had beaches and pools to ourselves most of the time, the staff are so friendly and attentive, the food is amazing ecspecially the breakfast, everything is immaculate and every detail thought off! The new beach huts are beautiful, we stayed in 42 overlooking the saltwater lagoon would highly recommend those ones! Also the staff are happy and willing to take you on boat rides or paddle boarding/snorkling whenever you wish, it has everything you could wish for!

The fabulous location, our room, Lagoon Cottage spacious, lovely fresh fruit. A veranda and pretty gowns to wear. The grounds are exotic fabulous beaches with really helpful qualified staff. Early morning swim fabulous also the personal canoe. The food above average for Jamaica.

Excellent service, very private, great food (although for a longer stay I would probably want to leave the property for some variety). If you are driving from the airport make sure you know where to go - we passed the unmarked entrance several times and local Jamaicans did not give consistent answers as to the property's location - it looks more like a private residence driveway.
